Stay Dreams Stay - Album and Video Art

Album cover art and video asset art for Victor McKnight's original song of "Stay Dreams Stay" inspired by the game "NiGHTS Into Dreams...". This is the first project I had done for Victor, which lead to a long-withstanding working relationship with 10 projects and counting of our art and music collaborating together.
This art was made with two purposes in mind: the first one being an album art cover that was uploaded to music platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, etc. The second purpose of this art was to have the art animated for the YouTube video uploaded to Victor's channel. The art was made with 5 sets of separate "layers" in mind; the sky background, moon, city foreground, NiGHTS (the jester character shown), and sparkles emitting from NiGHTS' hands that could be moved in a simple floating animation pattern, which you can see in motion in the YouTube upload.
