Feels the Rabbit - GamesCage Sonic 31st Anniversary Collab

This artwork was done for an huge artist collab hosted by GamesCage to help celebrate Sonic the Hedgehog's 31st anniversary in 2022. Over 70 artists were instructed to draw any version of Sonic that they pleased, which would then be put on one giant canvas as a mural alongside all the other artist's drawings. The variation of Sonic I chose to draw was one of the original prototype concepts of Sonic, dubbed "Feels the Rabbit". I wanted to pick a more obscure version of Sonic that no one else would attempt to draw to pay homage to the ideas that never came to be; I find it fascinating to give love to what could've been, but is instead left forgotten by many.
